For the past few years I have been working in advertising, and thoroughly enjoy the new tasks and pressures and demands of every day’s new requirements. One day we’ll be designing websites for national websites and the next car signage, magazine adverts and entire campaigns for our larger clients. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing your prized work in a magazine, on a billboard, or travelling on a car around town and being able to say “I made that, and I’m proud of it!”
But apart from the difference it makes to us as designers on an every-day basis, it also of course impacts our clients. Our design work has the ability to catch the attention of passers by or readers, and it is our duty to design and create so that it will entice the every day person to want and buy the products which we have advertised for. It is a truly amazing thought that, at our fingertips lie amazing possibilities of making a business truly work, making a product or service look good, making it show its true potential. We hold the power to create in our hands, and that brings to us endless possibilities. We can change the world, we can change the way that people look at not only products but circumstances, life, whatever we create into an ad or design.

If there's one thing I've learned it's that the best way out of a difficult situation is a smile. And that everyone needs to have a day of free hugs to offer to others.

If there's one thing I've learned it's to give. Give food, things, company, understanding, love...anything at all. Give, just give. There are the hungry, the lonely and the sick needing whatever you can give. When you make any one of them happy, you will get happiness manifold.

Cameron Neil, Fairtrade Australia & NZ
If there's one thing I've learnt it's that people in business want to do good. Mostly they haven't figured out how to and what's exciting about Fair Trade is that it shows them how they can combine what they exist for with doing good.

If there's one thing I've learnt it's that anything's possible and if you want to achieve something you just have to start doing it and it's incredible how many people you'll connect with and how fast your ideas will grow and how many people are really open to change and to positivity and to new things and how things connect and things grow.
I think it's amazing that no matter how much money you make or whatever your goal is it seems that for most people all they want to do is to go to a beautiful island...that in the end is part of nature...all the things that are at the end goal, no matter how much money you have, connect to nature. I think it's important that what you do doesn't destroy the end result.
Surely if we are more conscious in what we do everyday then you can enjoy your life and nature at the same time. You don't have to destroy nature to get to what you want.

If there's one thing I've learnt it's not to be scared to tap into all the great networks that are out there...there's local community groups, national groups, international groups and all of them have great opportunities for...people with good ideas to get out there and link up with.
